What's the difference between Super Hold, Summer Edition & Special Edition?
All 3 formulas are based around the Summer Edition base formulation with variations in fragrance, product color and label artwork. All three feature the same hold and shine levels.
All three feature a strong hold that's suitable (and best) for controlling unruly, thick and hard to manage hair types.
When would you need a strong hold pomade?
If you hair is thick, difficult to manage and you have a lot it, a strong hold pomade is the best way to control you hair. You technically could use a medium hold, like our Original Hold, but you'd go through much more product (and money) to achieve the results only a scoop or two of Super Hold would do.
What makes a pomade a strong hold? Less water and more binders.
Should the Super Hold be applied to wet or dry hair?
I recommend you apply this product to lightly damp or dry hair.
PRO Tip: If you need maximum hold from this product apply to dry hair, but make sure to warm the product between the palm of your hands thoroughly to make sure it spreads and combs easily.
Never apply to wet hair, you will get zero hold and you'll just waste pomade. It's a sin to waste pomade.
Can the Super Hold be restyled throughout the day?
Yes, lightly misting hair styled with water-based pomade like the Original Hold will reactivate the product, allowing the hair to be restyled with ease. Once the product has had time to dry and set, the hold will return and order will be restored to the world.
